Please read these terms and conditions carefully. Terms & Conditions outlines your use of website and purchases made only from website. By accessing this site you agree to be bound by our Terms and Privacy Policy.


1. Your acceptance and agreement to these terms

These Terms are an agreement between you (or anyone you represent, for example buying on behalf or buying for another person, group or party, regardless of number, all are bounded) and Handcrafters House.

Each time you use our website you have agreed these Terms and Conditions. No exceptions are defined nor exist. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions you may choose not to access or use our website.

We reserve the right the re-write or change the terms of conditions at any time.


3. Ownership & Copyright

The website (including all content, graphics, and other intellectual property and elements included but not limited to writing, design structure, photography) is the property of Handcrafters House and/or others, and is protected by Australian and International Copyright, Trademark and other laws. When you use this website, you do not assume ownership of any of these content. You may save and share content but the website and its content may not be copied, reproduced, modified or distributed in any way without our permission.

Our website may include links to other websites. Please keep in mind, should you purchase or have any issue with other websites other than ours, it is not our within our duty to assist or help you. 5. Payment, Prices & GST

All prices are in Australian dollars and include G.S.T (Goods & Services Tax). You can only pay in Australian Dollars. While shopping within Australia only local currency is accepted.

International customers paying using their credit cards (or any options in which enables them to pay us) are responsible to be aware of any exchange rates & bank transfer fees that may concern them. We are not responsible to acknowledge nor able to refund your order based on these circumstances. 

All payments through the website is done using a secure server provided by Australia Post’s SecurePay Payment Gateway. Failure to enter your payment details results in preventing you from placing your order.

We are currently considering our website to accommodate PayPal use but there is not estimated date.

6. Shipping & Postage

Once the item/s you have selected to purchase are in stock we accept your order and confirm its process. If the item is out of stock you will be notified via phone or email. If we have any concern about payment, shipping or anything related to your order we will contact you via email or phone. Orders are shipped with suitable packaging using Australia Post. You may choose Express Shipping by contacting us before placing your order, otherwise everything is shipped using Registered Standard Post.

Orders are usually shipped within 2 working days. Pre-Ordered items are shipped once they are available with us.

Shipping will be calculated on weight and size and charged at Australia Post rates.  We generally send orders under $150.00 in regular post satchels and orders over $150.00 are sent by traceable Registered Post in case parcels go missing.

Although rare, parcels that do go missing will be reposted. However this action depends on nature of the product or the incident, It depends if we can resupply that particular item should it be a special order, low stock or not available any longer. In these instances a refund will be processed.

International orders will be sent via airmail and will be charged at standard Australia Post International Rates.  Please email us if you need further information.

Generally we are unable to provide postage via other logistic companies, thus requesting services such as DHL Express may be rejected. We may, however consider case by case.

COVID-19 Impact: Currently Australia Post is experiencing an increased volume in workload. Please allow a number of days more than specified dates for your delivery to be completed in case they are delayed.

7. Sewing Machines

Generally sewing machines (any sewing machine under Singer, HV, Pfaff, Handi-Quilter) are only available to Western Australian consumers. We do not accept orders from consumers requiring shipping of these products interstate. Sewing Machines can only be shipped to Western Australian Addresses. Local pick-ups are optional.

International/ Interstate buyers are able to purchase machines however it must be picked up locally or be delivered to a Western Australian address however a verification process may be required. 

Please keep in mind the above policy is limited only to SEWING MACHINES and any other product. 

8. Consumer Guarantees

If you believe a product is faulty. We are able to offer a replacement or refund upon inspection. Please directly contact us to find out more about this process. Shipping cost is buyer’s responsibility.

Sewing machines purchased with our shop come with 5 years of warranty. Parts and Labour cost are covered in first 2 years only. Parts are covered 5 years. 

Change of Mind Policy:

As per Australian consumer law, a store does not have to give a refund or replacement if a customer simply changes their mind about a product. Under the Australian Consumer Law, the customer is only entitled to a refund or replacement for a major problem with a product covered by consumer guarantees.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind. However we may consider on a case by case basis to issue a store credit.

When you place a pre-order you are committed to buy that item as we in good faith would have ordered that product on your behalf.

If you would like to cancel your online order please reach out to our team as soon as possible. We may be able to cancel your order, before and after processing. You may incur a small admin fee.

We do not price match against other stores/ brands.
