Sashiko is a form of decorative reinforcement stitching (or functional embroidery) from Japan that started out of practical need. Today we see Sashiko as a form of decorative embroidery using simple stitches to form unique designs employing varying techniques. Join Janice for a one-off class to learn the basics of Sashiko by stitching out a panel that can be transformed into a small project of your liking.
This class will be rescheduled to run again later in 2021. If you would like to do this class please fill out the expression of interest form below.
